Tour de Fleece Giveaway

Since the tour doesn't end till the 25th, that leaves us with a couple of weeks to diminish our stash like crazy and spin!

And if you're like me that means you've pre-enhanced your stash to prepare for the stash-busting you'll be doing (and now haven't even spun a thing so my stash is bigger than when I started) or you'll be re-stocking your stash afterwards.

So I thought, what better time to give away some gorgeous spinning fiber? Just leave a comment here, any old comment, and I'll enter you in the drawing - just be sure to leave your ravelry or etsy username or some other way to contact you in the actual comment (it makes my life easier when it's time to contact you and since I'm giving stuff away I can be demanding like that.) You can even get extra entries for sharing about the giveaway on twitter or facebook, just paste the URL of your share into the comments here so I'll be sure to see it.

Here's exactly what we'll be giving away:

A 4oz bump of solid Superwash Merino fiber from the shop. I have it in stock now in black, firebrick, leaf, yellow and celadon. Winner gets to pick from whatever's in stock when I choose a winner on Friday the 16th.

wow! these are so pretty. This is my first TdF. I'm sort of teaching myself how to spin on a spindle, and after a few rough starts, I've kind of McGuyvered something that works for me. lol. I'm certain I'm not doing it correctly, but I'm even considering taking a class at one of the local shops around here so I can learn correct technique. :D Should be fun!

Awesome, thanks Kate! I didn't enter the TdF this year, I have been too busy, but I have been trying to spindle more often. I need to clear some space in my fibre stash...

I wish I could have entered the TdF this year, but I've been traveling.

Still, I'd love to win one of those colors! They're so bold and cheery and bright.

Do you know I just figured out this year how spinning relates to the Tour de France?

I am so excited for to be maybe having my excessive spending on Tour de Fleece fibers to be further justified!

I love all the colors! They're so beautiful, and simple, and it's funny because I'm always buying crazy colorways. I think you may have just turned my preferences. :)

I think I'd probably choose Firebrick... I'm still fairly new to spinning - only about a year, but I love it!

Well, if I win some fiber, then I'll be forced to learn how to drop spindle spin, wouldn't I? What a *HORRIBLE* thing to occur! What do you think of the tour so far? I go from thinking Lance's legs are done to thinking he's plotting *something* What a beautiful dye job you've done.

Maybe we'll bump elbows at stitches!
